Following the success of providing Wi-Fi for the presidential
summit recently held in Panama, Sistemas
Inalámbricos, S.A. (SISA), along
with its US partner, Teletronics International, Inc.,
announced today the completion of phase one of the contract
to provide 100% wireless high-speed Internet access
(HSIA) to the Caesar Park Hotel: the first hotel in
Panama to offer 100% wireless coverage.
This success is largely due to the partnership SISA
has with its U.S. wireless equipment supplier, Teletronics.
Teletronics is a leading global wireless equipment and
solution provider which delivers low-cost EZBridges,
CPEs, LAN cards and other wireless network equipment
to wireless Internet service providers (WISPs) and system
integrators allowing their clients to become turnkey
Wi-Fi operators. SISA entered into a strategic alliance
with Teletronics earlier this year, a partnership which
positions SISA as the No. 1 wireless HSIA service provider
in Panama.
Hotel owners all over the world are beginning to offer
wireless high-speed Internet access to their guests
and, due to its flexibility and state-of-the-art technology,
more and more hotel owners and managers are choosing
Teletronics’ EZHotspot solution. Initially, SISA
installed a traditional wireless system in the Hotel
Caesar Park, but later on this year SISA plans to upgrade
the network with Teletronics’ latest WoCATV solution.
The WoCATV solution distributes a Wi-Fi signal via the
existing CATV cable connected to each room.
